im back. the short trip to Korea was my intended getaway aka break from the pile of mess here, which sorta turned out otherwise. guess its never a wise thing to form good impressions of anything you have never met or been to before because when it disappoints it shreds you into pieces and leaves you with nothing but a feeling of exasperation. alas, i am as stuck and tired as i left.
anyway here are some things i noticed about korea: whimsical architecture (in the mountains) you'll never find two similar looking houses or building and i really liked this about korea, there are more white cars than any other colour on the road, rude people, culturally less conservative than the chinese, very few fast food joints certainly not sucked into the whole globalization schmanzy (the opposite of what i thought), loves their korean food, barely any pretty girls.
